Beginner lower body workout - the basics - learn to squat

Are you new to working out? Or an experienced exerciser looking to freshen up on the basics? This video is great for you! I teach you how to squat, hinge, sumo squat and lunge.

We focus on proper form, targeting the correct muscles and moving slowly. These lower body moves are the building blocks for all workouts and there are modifications for every level. No equipment necessary.

We’ll perform 4 moves, 10 reps each and then repeat the circuit.

The 4 exercises are -

  1. Squat

  2. Hinge

  3. Sumo squat

  4. Forward lunge
