5 minute isometric core stretch

Just did a tough core workout? Come spend 5 minutes with me and stretch it out. This video is meant to be done AFTER a core workout. Stretching is one of the most overlooked aspects of exercise. Stretching decreases your risk of injury. It increases blood flow and range of motion. Stretching improves your flexibility and posture while alleviating back pain. Stretching is also great for stress release leading to a calmer mind and body. 

We’ll hold the stretches for about 30 seconds each. 

The exercises are - 

  1. Side body stretch - R

  2. Side body stretch - L

  3. Hug knees in 

  4. Cross body stretch - R

  5. Cross body stretch - L

  6. Cobra

  7. Child’s pose
